Jobs for parents at the Campus Kinderhaus
Temporary workspace for JMU parents:
Balancing family and work often requires a great deal of flexibility and good organisation. To provide you with the best possible support in your day-to-day life between nursery and work, we are now offering a workspace for JMU parents at the Campus Kinderhaus.
This service is not intended as a permanent workplace, but rather as targeted support for exceptional circumstances, such as:
- During the settling-in period: You need to stay close to your child so that you can return at any time, but at the same time you have work commitments.
- To bridge gaps in your schedule: If drop-off or pick-up times vary – for example, due to a doctor’s appointment – it is often not feasible for you to travel to your regular workplace or home office within the remaining time slot.
Data protection and personal rights at Campus Kinderhaus
In a nursery, the protection of children’s privacy and personal rights is a top priority. In the day-to-day running of the nursery, it cannot be ruled out that children may be heard or seen in the background during video or telephone conferences. To fully safeguard these rights and prevent any data protection issues, working within the Campus Kinderhaus is not permitted.
Your workplace in the immediate vicinity
The office, which has a total of three workstations, is located at Josef-Martin-Weg 54 and is therefore no more than a five-minute walk from the Campus Kinderhaus.
This gives you the opportunity to work undisturbed and in compliance with data protection regulations, whilst remaining close by so that you can be with your child promptly if needed.
Please email familienservice@uni-wuerzburg.de to let us know the time slot you require (date and time)
At present, workstation allocation is still managed manually; we are working on an automated solution.
Our staff will then get in touch with you.
You will be provided with a loaner transponder to gain access to the premises.
