    "Fair use"

Fair use of our devices is important to ensure that all users can perform their measurements and achieve their scientific goals. Note that misuse may result in sanctions, including blocking of access for up to 3 months.

    Before you start:

    • PLAN: Familiarize yourself with the rules: following the official user rules and booking guidelines is a basic requirement and helps to avoid conflicts.
    • BOOK: Think about what kind of measurement time slots you need
      • Short: Use off-peak times.
      • Medium: Book contiguous blocks, e.g. 7am-12pm or 12pm-4pm with no gaps.
      • Long: Schedule overnight or during off-peak hours; contact CU Imaging staff if needed.
    •  LOGOUT: Close all computer windows and log out after use of our analysis work stations and microscopes to secure and protect your data.
