Young Africa Centre

The Young Africa Centre (JAZ) is a working group of the Africa Competence Centre of the University of Würzburg (ACCUW). The Young Africa Centre has the ambition to act as a platform for PhD, Master's and Bachelor's students as well as members of faculty interested in or engaged in research and teaching on Africa.

We regularly organize colloquia, talks as well as panel discussions and publish the Young Africa Centre Series.

The recently published German-language “Handbook Democratic Republic of the Congo” offers a total of 36 articles that shed light on all facets of the country.
