Kicking Off the New Year 2024

On January 23, RNAmed students gathered at the Großhadern Campus of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. A highlight of the event was the opportunity to speak with Dr. Patrick Baumhof, Senior Vice President of Technology at CureVac.
As a biopharmaceutical company (back then, it was), CureVac conducts research on various applications of mRNA, ranging from prophylactic vaccines to cancer therapy, and is known for its pioneering work in this field. During an exclusive Q&A session with Dr. Patrick Baumhof, the students gained insight into pharmaceutical research processes and learned about his professional career. This was followed by a presentation on mRNA-based vaccines, delivered by Dr. Baumhof himself.
