Yakshagana, a dynamic theatre form of coastal Karnataka, India, brings together music, dance, colorful costumes costumes, and captivating storytelling. This workshop, given by Dr. Prithvirajesh Kumar S K, from the Centre for Kannada and Regional Languages, Manipal Academy of Arts, India will highlight its aesthetic appeal, its role as popular entertainment, and its significance as a living tradition. This workshop offers a glimpse into its aesthetics, entertainment, and living tradition, along with a hands-on experience of the art form.
