Intercultural training

The Chair of Indology is collaborating with the Center for Nanosystems Chemistry (CNC, University of Würzburg) to help CNC students navigate Indian customs and social norms during their study period in India. This intercultural training is designed to help students adapt, connect, and make the most of their time abroad.

Our university fosters strong cooperation with Indian partners through mobility programmes and academic exchange across nearly all research areas. This collaboration has led to numerous German-Indian research projects, reciprocal guest visits, joint publications, and lasting personal connections.

ICAS:MP

The M.S. Merian  – R. Tagore International Centre of Advanced Studies ‘Metamorphoses of the Political’ (ICAS:MP) was set up in July 2015. ICAS:MP is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), and is the first of its kind funded outside Germany.

International Research Training Group IRTG 2991, Photoluminescence of Supramolecular Matrices

IRTG 2991 is an international  research and training program. In close collaboration between researchers at JMU and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) the team conducts cutting edge research projects on fluorescent, phosphorescent and higher complexity luminescent materials by making use of smart supramolecular matrices.
