From mid-June to mid-August 2026, the Research Training Group welcomed Professor Raymond A. Mar from the York University, Canada, as a visiting researcher and Mercator Fellow at the JMU.

From July 28th to 30th, the Research Training Group held its first Summer School on “Applied Storytelling”, combining expert input with hands-on workshops on interactive narratives, creative storytelling, and games.

In July, Professor Rabindra Ratan visited Würzburg, where he led the guest workshop “The Proteus Effect Today” on avatars and human-technology interaction.
