General information in advance

At the beginning of the Unitag, you individually select courses of the respective semester totalling 5-7 SWS. A course usually has 2 SWS (90 minutes per week). The choice can be modified in the first two weeks, but is then binding.

You should be able to take part in "normal" university courses as far as possible so that you can gain an authentic impression of studying the individual subjects. To this end, we offer

  • primarily regular courses, i.e. lectures, tutorials or seminars from the basic area of Bachelor's degree programmes, in which you take part together with regular students,
  • supplementary Unitag special courses for subjects in which regular courses cannot be attended in principle due to excessive scope, unfavourable times or participant restrictions. They then deal with a sub-area in a way that is typical for first-year students in this subject.

Programme and information on the individual semesters

  • Lecture period: 13.10.2025 - 06.02.2026
  • Introductory event: Mon 13.10.2025, 17:15, probably Central Lecture Hall and Seminar Building Z6 (Hubland South Campus), Room 2.014

Course offer

Not all subjects have yet given feedback on the courses on offer, so the course list is not yet complete. However, the courses offered in previous winter semesters provide a good impression of the options available.

  • If a course is offered several times at different times, these are parallel groups, one of which can be selected.
