Holiday care
The JMU Family Service offers childcare for school children aged 6-12 during all Bavarian school holidays except the Christmas holidays. During the summer holidays, children who are not yet 6 years old but are about to start school can also be registered.
The Campus Camp is open to all children of employees and students of the Julius-Maximilians University and the University Hospital of Würzburg. Children of employees of s.Oliver GmbH & Co. KG Würzburg and employees of THWS Würzburg are also welcome at the Campus Camp.
If necessary, free capacities or places that become available at short notice will be allocated to non-university families shortly before the start of the holiday week, taking into account the waiting list.
We would also like to point out that this is a German-language childcare programme, so if you do not speak German, please contact the management in advance so that we can integrate the children into the group as well as possible and make them feel welcome. The same applies, for example, to children with physical disabilities or other restrictions.

The last holiday day (B&B) is already full and many children are already on the waiting list.
If you would still like to register your child, you can find the registration form here
If all free places are taken, your child will automatically be placed on our waiting list. You will receive an automatic email from us informing you of these places and any that become available. So far, all children on the waiting list have received a place at the Campus Camp - albeit shortly before the start of the holiday week. We therefore advise you not to cancel your place on the waiting list if you urgently need a place.
On the other hand, please let us know if you do not wish to take up a place on the waiting list in order to facilitate our planning for the holiday weeks.
As soon as you receive an invoice from the Family Service by e-mail, the holiday weeks listed on it are bindingly booked.
Cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start of childcare: 20% of the childcare costs
Cancellation 6 to 3 weeks before the start of childcare:50% of the care costs
Cancellation less than 3 weeks before the start of care: 80% of the care costs
The catering costs of €5/day will always be refunded if you cancel before the start of the holiday week.
