Advice and support
We provide advice and support to all members of the university
- on issues relating to equal opportunities and diversity
We will help you with issues that are within our area of responsibility and, if necessary, will refer you to other qualified internal staff in order to find the best solution for your specific issues.
- ways to respond when faced with discrimination
You have experienced discrimination, for example
Discrimination based on gender (e.g. gender, sexual identity or orientation, sexism)
Discrimination based on origin (e.g. socio-cultural or socio-economic origin, religion, ideology, ethnic origin, racism, anti-Semitism*)
Discrimination based on personal barriers (e.g. language barriers, physical or mental illness or disability, chronic illness, caring responsibilities due to parenthood or caring for relatives, age)
The anti-discrimination helpdesk will support you.
Anti-discrimination Helpdesk:
You can contact the University of Würzburg's anti-discrimination helpdesk online and anonymously.
We offer counselling for all university members.
The counsellors at the contact point are bound to secrecy and will treat your concerns confidentially. In an initial counselling session, we will show you possible next steps and forms of support. Should you wish to take further steps, we will accompany you through the process. The contact persons specifically appointed by the university for questions relating anti-discrimination support us in this (more information will follow).
Report discrimination online: You can use the platform‘s chat function to receive anonymous advice. You can also opt for a face-to-face consultation at any time.
You can access the anti-discrimination helpdesk portal online via this web link: https://uni-wue.share-a-hint.com/?lang=en
Please note: The online portal is currently still under construction and can be fully used only from 01.10.2024 on.
