Renzhou Zhu is Associate Professor in the College of Art and Design, Nanjing Tech University, where he also received his MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in Art History. His main research interest include the Early Modern China Architecture, particularly of the “National Revival” architecture. Furthermore, he is interested in China’s Classical Gardens as well as American and European Architecture and Urbanism after 18th Century. In addition to his academic activities, Renzhou Zhu is also working as a graphic and landscape designer.

Dr. Renzhou Zhu talks about the background and history of the mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen (1866-1925), first president of the People's Republic of China, in the context of "National Revival" architecture.

The presentation and the following discussion are open for the public and will be held in English. All interested parties are welcome!
