    3D Printers

3D printers can be used to create moving and static objects made of different materials. Their application ranges from the printing of individual prototypes to the mass production of finished products. Print templates can be created in two ways: eeither by scanning existing objects, or by designing individual objects with the help of computer-aided-design programs. There are also databases such as thingiverse or the virtual museum 3D Archeo Lab, which provide scans and individual creations free of charge. Museums also somesimes offer printable data files of their exhibits.
