A first leadership position brings with it new responsibilities and challenges. After the change of role from employee to manager – despite previous career planning – the newly promoted manager feels unprepared for his or her new responsibilities. New demands are being made from many sides – from superiors, employees and ultimately their own claims. Clarity about one‘s own role and the right inner attitude are basic prerequisites for trusting cooperation with employees.
What is leadership and what tasks and role expectations does it entail? How do I balance the leadership of my employees, the leadership of my supervisor and my self-management? Which guiding questions help me to find my way during my first 100 days and which methodical approaches are there?
We want to discuss these questions in a short lecture.
The lecture will take place at lunchtime – therefore we invite you to a small cold lunch during the lecture in a relaxed atmosphere, so that you can start the rest of the day strengthened and with new inputs.
