"Hard on merits, soft on people" – is a quite often quoted central point from the Harvard concept of leading negotiations, which is also frequently used when it comes to feedback. We aim to give our employees or peers direct, appreciative and solution-oriented feedback, even in difficult discussions. But at the right moment we find it difficult to adopt a clear stance, to strike balance between criticism and praise and to formulate the right words and goals.
The lecture "Feedback and Feedforward" answers the most frequently asked questions about feedback. How do I give feedback? How do I balance positive and negative criticism? In which situations is feedback effective or no longer appropriate? And to what does the "Feedforward" model helps as a strategy to use feedback to promote employee performance? We aim to highlight the particular relevance of reflective conversations as well as ways and methods that you can easily implement in your professional everyday life and in your personal style.
The lecture will take place at lunchtime – therefore we invite you to a small cold lunch during the lecture in a relaxed atmosphere, so that you can start the rest of the day strengthened and with new inputs.
