WueDive Extended
04/25/2024Success for WueDive, the project for the further development of digital teaching at the University of Würzburg: the team has raised a further EUR 1.7 million and can now establish new programmes by the end of 2025.
With the successful acquisition of the project extension, WueDive can open another central chapter. Over the past three years, the team has supported over 40 sub-projects and implemented and further developed ideas for digital teaching at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (JMU) in a needs-oriented manner with a wide range of interdisciplinary expertise and the broad participation of teaching staff and students.
Growing Out of the Project Character
The call for funding from the "Innovation in University Teaching" foundation is now aimed at sustainably securing and expanding the project results to date. By the end of 2025, the university's Centre for Academic Education and Teaching (ZBL) will have established a connectable service offering for digital teaching. "WueDive will therefore grow out of its project character and become part of the structures of the ZBL," explains project manager and Vice President for Studies, Teaching and Quality Management Andreas Dörpinghaus.
In terms of content, the team at the ZBL is focussing on securing previous results in the area of digital teaching, expanding resource and educational offers, establishing interdisciplinary networking and transfer offers and promoting existing initiatives.
