What does quantum physics tell us about time? And what does time have to do with Albert Einstein? In the tenth QUANTube episode, everything revolves around the great thinker and his theory of space and time - the theory of relativity. PhD student Erica explains how pendulum clocks, quartz clocks, atomic clocks and navigation devices work, why moving clocks are slower and when a long car fits into a short garage.

Tenth part of the QUANTube series

“QUANTube - short break science” is the video series for the game app “Kitty Q - a quantum adventure” from the Würzburg-Dresden Cluster of Excellence ct.qmat and is dedicated to the questions of young players about quantum physics phenomena.

Since the “Kitty Q” app from ct.qmat and app designer Philipp Stollenmayer went online, more than 1,200 questions have already been received from players all over the world. From January to December 2022, they will be answered by ct.qmat young scientists from Würzburg and Dresden in the QUANTube videos.

Do you also have a question about quantum physics? Then solve the puzzle of entangled quanta in the game app “Kitty Q” and send us your question. Click here to download: https://kittyq.app
