German language summer courses for foreign students04/01/2015
Learn German, discover German culture, make new friends and create lasting memories: the University of Wuerzburg would like to welcome external students to the International Summer School for German in August 2015.
The University of Wuerzburg hast revived the tradition of giving international students the chance to improve their German skills in Germany. Thanks to an intensive cooperation between the University Language Centre (ZFS) and the University administration, a didactically valuable and varied course programme has been developed.
Four weeks of varied courses
The International Summer school is for students whose native language is not German. The participants improve their language skills in activity-oriented courses in small groups taught by experienced teachers at the Language Center. Apart from the daily language courses, intercultural classes, guided tours and excursions are part of the programme.
Thus the participants can deepen their knowledge of German and experience German culture. Moreover, the students get an insight into research projects conducted at the University of Wuerzburg. The fringe activities enable the international students to mingle with the locals and enjoy the summer in a lively student city.
Registration open until June 30th, 2015
The University of Wuerzburg is looking forward to welcoming many students from abroad. The language courses oriented to the levels A2, B1 and B2 (according to CEFR) take place from August 3rd to 28th, 2015. After successfully completing the programme, students can receive 5 ECTS points.
