Moving to a new location in Germany and starting a new job - usually this means a lot of work: you need to register your new address and  car as well as complete a vast array of forms.

We provide practical support relating to these matters.

The Welcome Center also offers information on visas, entry and residence regulations as well as insurance issues.

    Compulsory registration

    • It is a legal requirement for you to register with the Citizens' Registration Office (the „Buergerbuero“) within a week of moving to your permanent accommodation.

    • The registration form (PDF) can be filled in in advance.

    • Detailed information on the registration process and further services of the Buergerbuero are available from the City of Wuerzburg’s website.

In case you encounter any problems concerning your registration with the local authorities, please, do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to make an appointment with you and accompany you to the Citizens' Registration Office or the Department for Nationality Issues and Foreigner Affairs.
