News and Announcements

In den Bachelor-Studiengängen Akademische Sprachtherapie/Logopädie, Biologie, Psychologie, Wirtschaftswissenschaften und Wirtschaftsinformatik sind noch einzelne Studienplätze frei. Interessierte können sich hierfür im sogenannten Clearing- und Losverfahren bewerben.

Den „Just-do-it“-Spirit vermisst Martin Wagner in Deutschland. Wagner ist Hörfunkdirektor des Bayerischen Rundfunks und Alumnus der Uni Würzburg. Deshalb lautet sein Rat an Studierende: Just do it – und schließt euer Studium ab!

Chemiker der Universitäten Würzburg und Konstanz haben den Musterfall einer spingesteuerten chemischen Reaktion untersucht. Das Ergebnis ihrer Arbeit war dem Journal of the American Chemical Society jetzt ein Titelbild wert.

Staatssekretär Bernd Sibler und Universitätspräsident Alfred Forchel haben am Donnerstag feierlich die neue Mensateria am Campus Hubland Nord eröffnet. Gäste aus Politik, Wissenschaft, Forschung, Studierendenvertreter und andere Uni-Angehörige nahmen an dem Festakt mit ökumenischer Weihe teil.
